Starting up a program in /etc/rc

I am trying to start a program when I power on my machine under SCO Unix..

This program uses a windowing system called Codebase and hence requires
the terminal type set....If I start it up under batch once I log on,
everything is fine, but if I try to start it up in RC with an & appended
on the end to put in the background, the system call does not work properly
....(Go execute shell command) ...Is there a way I can get this to work
in /etc/rc (Do I / Can I need to set the shell name somewhere..)

Please mail any replies to

krone%swatty at attmail.com

Thanx....

Larry
