Is Xenix 386 C as broken as Xenix 286 C?

We intend to become a C++ shop.  We have the C++ source and would like
C++ to run on our primary development environments, Unix and DOS.  But
Xenix 286 C will not compile some of C++'s output; the compiler crashes
with a segmentation violation.  It also gives the infamous "infinite spill"
message on complicated expressions that the DOS C's seem able to handle.

Is the 386 version any better?  Specifically, do you have AT&T C++ working
with it?
