VT100 Emulation using Macintosh question

We have users who regularly login to Xenix hosts from Macintosh SE's
using the "Microphone" VT100 terminal emulation program.  There has
never been a problem with the ESC key.

Unless there is a difference between the SE and basic Mac keyboards, an
ESC key exists on the upper left side of the keyboard.  I'm not sure why
the ESC key need be assigned anywhere, except to the ESC key.  However,
assuming Versaterm remaps the Mac keyboard [is that even possible?], you
might try Ctrl-[, which will produce an ESC character.
