Trivial Pursuits: Game Ports on VP/Ix

This is a relatively dopey question, but it is also a cold, rainy, Friday 
afternoon.  Has anyone gone through the grief needed to access a game port
(not a rodent...) on VP/Ix?   If so, what did it take?
