Try the Sunriver Fiber Optic Workstation. It will do all you ask with 
blazing speed. They have monchrome, EGA and VGA versions. And recently 
they announced price reductions which makes it even more attractive, esp.
when comparing it to a dumb old ASCII/ANSI tube. The throughput performance
has to be seen to be believed. I use one daily and I'll never give it up.
