removing Xenix partition & installing Xenix

Hi there,

I installed Xenix 3.0 on my IBM PC XT hard disk a few days ago & I followed
the system's instructions.  However when it finally prompted me "open the 
diskette door & hit any key to reboot system", I did so, but upon resetting
the system hang there after it tried to read the hard disk for some time.

I tried to remove the Xenix partition using DOS FDISK.COM (so that I can 
reinstall again) but it can't be done.  I don't think the Xenix boot diskette
can remove it either.

Can someone help me & tell me exactly how to reinstall Xenix & DOS on my
hard disk?
