|I wrote some code that does
|
|a) Lotus style menus,
|b) Pop-up menus,
|c) Limited windows
|d) Pull-down menus

|and then I ported it to SCO Xenix 386.
|Alas, whenever I run it on a VGA color monitor, THE SCREEN IS FILLED WITH SNOW!!
|I am NOT using color, but it is based on terminfo (not curses)
|How can I get round this problem.
|
|I noticed that the Informix/SQL menu which also uses Lotus style menus, does
|not have this problem!!

The current versions of Informix-SQL, -4GL, etc., all use a somewhat
customized version of curses (using termcap, not terminfo). Could
be problems with the terminfo entry in use.
