Hi, 
few days ago I installed exactly that combination here under
XENIX-286 2.2.1, it's working fine.
The disks were formatted with speedstore, installed as type 19
(1024 cyl. 7 heads) and during the XENIX-installation the maxtrack
set to 1169.
