I'm running SCO Xenix 386 2.3 and am playing with the Unix f77 based
fortran-to-C converter which is available from netlib at research.att.com.
Looking at the code, it looks more like a *real product* than a toy
compiler, and seems to perform quite well, is free in source-code form
and is constantly updated. Mail the message 'send index from f2c' to
netlib at research.att.com for more info.

SCO will sell you LPI-Fortran if you ask. Me, I'll take a free compiler
in source form any day.
