TERM with SCO telnet?

We have had success with TERM's (Century Software) DOS product in
attaching to Unix via FTP tnglass and using TERM as the emulator 
over ethernet. My question is can the same be done going from one
unix machine to another using SCO's telnet. Does it let you use
and external emulator to look like the SOC console for example
while you are actually connect to your local Xenix/Unix box with
a brand X terminal?
