Unix Workstation Query

Here are the (rather meager) results of the recent query about
Unix workstations:

o Sun, NBI, and Cyb employees plugged their companies'
	  machines.

o A Fortune employee said "try us again, we've cleaned
	  up our act"

o An "objective observer" (not employed by any of the
companies involved) recommended Sun and Callan; ripped
Motorola VME and Intel 286/310. Said the Intel supports
only 64K data segment (!). Ex-Fortune employee, said
he'd had "pretty good experience" with his Fortune 32:16.

o The friend for whom I posted the inquiry is thoroughly
	  disgusted with Fortune.

o The same friend saw a demo of the Sun and was impressed,
but it costs $25K. This is out of his price range.

Callan offers a 35% software developers' discount, so my friend is
leaning toward buying one of their machines. Do you have one? Does
is work? Does Callan support it? (Callan employees exempt from this
inquiry.)

The original inquiry is still open, so send mail about Callan or any
other system which you know about, and I'll summarize. Thanks!
