BLTJ subscriptions

I tried the suggestion of one correspondent of sending in a $10.00 sub-
scription for just the C.S. issues for 1984.  I got back a form letter
and my uncashed check, stating that "subscriptions could not be
backdated", and suggesting I call the 800-number to order individual
issues.  No indication of whether or not the C.S.-only subscription
option still exists, even.
