System V vs. 4.1BSD paper

          I think the paper you are after is "UNIX System V and 4.1C
BSD" By John Chambers and John Quarterman of the University of Texas.

          It is in the July 1983 USENIX proceedings, on several UUCP
hosts and somewhere on the ARPANET.  I can dig out my copy of the paper
and give real addresses, if needed.
