        { yummy good line }

I have the dubious job of training a new sys. programmer and though he
has some practical experience, he has had little formal CS training.
I have him reading K & P 's The Unix Prog. Enviorment, but I would like
him to learn more about operating systems in general. My question is: can
anyone recommend a good text on operating systems that might deal with or
be based on the Unix system ( the system he will be working with ) ?
Thanks in advance.
