How do you change the line length


in the macro package "-ms" ? I tried
the .nr LL 7.5 or others, and it 
would not work. As usual, it is a
BSD 4.2 11/780, and nroff (no Typesetter)
I believe it has to do with the LL reg
but don't know how to do it.
