a question

A while ago, I came across a file archived on an ARPANET machine which
concerned a discussion (usenet, circa 198?). This discussion was a result
of a request by someone for .login files, .cshrc files, and/or alias which
were interesting or incorporated useful or time-saving tricks. It was a
large file incorporating 30 or 40 responses. Unfortunately, I was sort of
preoccupied when I came across this file and printed a copy of it out with
out really looking at it. Now I can't seem to find this printout, nor the
machine which I got this from. As far as I can recall, the originally
archived file was on SIMTEL20.ARPA, MIT-MC.ARPA, CADRE.ARPA, SRI-NIC.ARPA,
or SUMEX-AIMS.ARPA. I also can't seem to recall the directory it was in on
whichever machine it was, though it was probably something like <UNIX> or
<INFO-UNIX>.
I'd really appreciate it if someone who knows where I can find this
archived file or has a copy of it lets me know how I can get a hold of it.
I've been randomly trying various directories on these various machines and
seem to have come to a dead end.
