Funny filenames: so far, no good... (2.9BSD)

Let me suggest the following:

1) do an ls -i and the the inode number of your funny file.
2) unmount the disk
3) Use "clri" to zero out the inode of the funny file (I hope you
   have "clri" !  It should be in /etc)
4) Run fsck to straighten out the unclaimed data blocks 
5) remount your disk

I've used this procedure before to kill funny directories and it works
just fine.
