Is anyone using the APPGEN applications generator?

We are looking at purchasing a used Convergent Mini Frame, and they are
throwing in their licensed copy of APPGEN.  Is APPGEN worth dealing with?

Is anyone using it?  I recall getting a briefing on it at an Altos seminar two
years ago, but I don't remember much, other than it wrote documentation for
the applications as it generated them.  This would save me tons of time.  All
I would have to do is clean it up and translate their documentation into 
something I'd allow my name on the cover of.

How is it's execution speed?
