Since sps, top, and uw did not come with their Ultrix-32 system, it is
assumed that they are public-domain add-ons for which sources are
present. (In fact I know sps and top are.) The suggestion *is* a good
one for any programs for which you have sources that use kernel
structures, sockets, etc.
As I said, SCCS is a protection problem. *Finger* is a legitimate
beef -- it is fixed now. (Even though it is `unsupported' -- is this
a great company or what! :-):-))

*And please submit an SPR Form for any problems you find!* If you do
decide to use the full installation kit, make sure you copy off the
list of `custom files' from the update kit tape. Then, save them off
yourself. Then you can merrily "mt fsf 1 ; tar x....." until you have
it all off. But make sure you save off those files beforehand! (And
"mv" files that will be in use and therefore not overwritten -- tar,
csh, init, and so on.) This is how we upgraded since we got a full
installation kit well before our update kit. (If you need the format
for the full installation mag tapes, drop me a note.)
