We hope to use an HP Laserjet-plus as a printer for our Sun workstations
and I would be grateful for any comments on the feasibility of such a
project or advice. In particular, has anyone written the print spooler
data filters for troff, raster, and graphics files for either the Laserjet,
Laserjet-plus or any dot matrix printer (Epson etc) that use byte encoded
bit images and would be willing to share their source code?

If it comes to writing our own filters for troff, would we be better to
consider ditroff rather than troff? if so, to whom should I go for more
information and copies?

Thanks

Chris Rawlings
