                       Call for Papers

                     SHARE 76 Conference
                      San Francisco, CA
                 February 24 - March 1, 1991

The Unix Project of the IBM SHARE Users Group is seeking papers
describing projects based in a Unix environment for presentation at
SHARE 76 Conference in February 1991. With the recent announcement of
of the RISC System/6000, and AIX supported across the PS/2, RT, RISC
System/6000 and 370/XA architectures, there is fast growing interest in
how these systems can be used, supported, and integrated into a
traditionally non-IBM environment. The RISC System/6000 is now
accepted as a qaulifying machine for SHARE membership admission.
Papers selected for presentation during the San Francisco conference
will be published in the conference proceedings.

Technical topics related to, but not limited to, the following
areas are invited for submission:

Supercomputing Distributed Systems
Scientific Computing Transaction Processing
Workstations Database Applications
Security and Administration Networking
Human Factors Graphics and Imaging
User Support Languagues and Programming
Performance and Tuning Interoperability

Submissions for consideration should be approximately 2 to 3 typewritten
pages in length, and include a topic abstract and outline, references,
and author address (Mail address, Phone, EMail). Papers must be received
by October 15, 1990 to be considered. Notification of acceptance or rejection
will be made by January 1, 1991. A camera ready copy of papers selected for
