Bug in: tty driver
Systems: III and maybe V
How come the echoe (erase character on delete bs-space-bs) feature,
allows erasing past the start of the buffer? You can delete past any
input you have typed. This should be a simple fix to the driver, has
anyone done it.
On a similar note, I hope all the software with System V now uses the
termio/ioctl interface to set/restore terminal modes. System III is
annoying since many programs (ex: adb) use the old stty/gtty simulation.
