Ok, let's get a serious effort going. Please start the "Keywords:" line with
the letter "X", so we can keep these together until a unix-pc.x group needs to
be formed.

Several people have talked about X, how much progress has been made? What are
the major problem areas? I've heard alex talking about a socket library, how
far along is that/when will we see Beta? How much space will development take?
How much space will a regular sort of X run-time take? How many Ms for memory?

Let's assume for the moment that it can be done, and that we're GOING to do it.
