There should be some way to perform a "remote execution" (a phrase I first saw
used in this context by Randall Schwartz) on someone who posts questions
before reading the Unix Frequently Asked Questions list.

If you take a look at that document, you will find the following:

   9.  rec.games.*: Where can I get the source for ... rogue?

     You can't get the source of rogue.  The authors of the game, as is
     their right, have chosen not to make the sources available.
     However, several rogue-like games have been posted to the
     comp.sources.games group and they are available in the archives.


You should note that this is question 9 out of 40.  It has been on the list
from its beginning a decade ago (plus or minus).

Nice to see that people haven't changed.
