Bug in nlist(3)?? for 4.2bsd?

In 4.2bsd nlist(3), it looks like errors return -1 and success
returns 0.  BUT -- if the file cannot be opened, the routine returns
NULL (which is, as we've all heard countless time recently, 0).  Seems
to me it should return -1 in this case.
