Recently I got fed up with the usual `vms' command, which leaves
sys$input and sys$output connected to the terminal, and wrote my own,
which does connect stdin to sys$input etc. For example,
% vms dir | more
works fine. Mine runs under VMS V3.7 and it should work on almost any
version of Eunice which runs on V3.7.
This is a fairly easy thing to do, for someone who is reasonably
familiar with the VMS system services.
I'm quite willing to send this program out, but I don't want to
post it if there's not much demand, so mail me and if I get buried under
the mail then the program will show up on net.sources (with mention
here) shortly thereafter.
