The Expansion Module (XM) for the 3b2 includes a cartridge tape drive.
Your AT&T sales rep *should* know about this.  The tapes it writes
are compatible with the cartridge tape drive for the UNIX-PC.

It is not a standard product, but as an experiment, I have read 3b2 
tapes on a PC using the 5210 tape backup sold by Cipher Data - the 
hardware compatibility is there, but there is no software support.
