2nd Hard Disk on a 6300

I have an AT&T 6300 with a 30MB (Seagate 238) Hard Disk on an RLL controller.  
I just ran out of room on my hard disk and was thinking about getting the 
Seagate 80MB 28ms Hard Disk.  I was wondering if there are any problems with 
having a second disk controller (MFM), in addition to the RLL, in the 6300's
(I want to keep my 30MB disk as an online backup disk).

If you have any other suggestions, please write me.
