Hardware flow-control on a 3B15?

Hi folks,

     I think I already know the answer to these 3B15 questions,
but I'll try anyway.  First, is it possible to run hardware
flow control on an ADLI line (with an IOA)?  I've never seen
any mention of this anywhere even after looking around a lot.

     Second, are parallel ports available for the 3B15 either?

     Why in the world can't companies design serial hardware
that is usable in the real world?  One simply cannot make some
reasonable configurations work right without both hardware and
software flow-control enabled *at the same time*, and lack of
same has caused us major hassles.  If you are building serial
hardware, please ask people what they need.  You can even ask
me.
