Passive glasses for stereo

As of about a year ago, the passive system (LCD screen polarizer plate, 
control box, and passive glasses) from Stereographics cost about $9000
to add to an IRIS 4D.  This included hardware mods to the monitor.
The price may have changed since.

Although probably more expensive, the passive system is much more 
practical to use, and is more easily viewed by several people,
since extra glasses are quite cheap.
