simple contouring programs

    Their not exactly simple, but have you hear of PLOT3D, SURF, or FAST?
PLOT3D was designed to examine CFD solutions and does line and solid
shaded contours as well as other things.  Even thou it was designed for
CFD work we have used it for other things too.
