kermit speed

We have used kermit at 9600 baud quite a bit but recently tried out
the xmodem/ymodem/zmodem package that is available on many archive sites.
It compiled using the sysV flag in the Makefile first try and seems to run
fine. On a 9600 baud serial line we get about double the throughput of
kermit using zmodem. This is for PC's but I think you can find Mac software
that supports the zmodem protocol.

If anyone can't find the source I could mail them the tar'd, compressed,
uuencoded source (~100K).
