optical disk drives on an Iris-4D

  Does anyone have experience with optical disk drives on the Iris-4D?
I'm looking for something like the Sony rewritable optical disk drive that
our department has running on a VAX under VMS.  This drive takes 
removable optical disks which store approx. 600 Megs each.  I need to 
know the names of some vendors and rough price estimates.  If anyone
already has an optical disk system up and running, I'd like to get your 
feedback.
