Upgrading to 4.0.1 on Sun386i

We have a network of 5 Sun 386i's which are running X Windows as our user
interface.  This precludes the use of SNAP for system administration which
is considered a blessing around here.  SNAP seemed to be very slow and
combersome, especially when minor changes were needed to be made.  

I agree with Glenn, it is best to do system administration by hand.  All
the information to do so is either in "Sun386i Advanced Administration" or
in "System & Network Administration" manuals.  When upgrade time did come,
we had learned enough by then to know which files needed to be saved on
disk (also printed) so that after the 4.0.1 was loaded, the admin. files
could very quickly be restored from disk.  The greatest amount of time was
spent actually loading the tapes on the disk, not going through the hassle
of re-entering all the admin. information through SNAP.  Even if SNAP was
made to run under the X windows system, we wouldn't use it.
