Well, we got our $950+ Micropolis 1325, 86MB (unformatted) shoebox...
it's cute, quiet, nearly plug&play.  Just to make sure, used diag to
(re)label it (mfgr provided it already formatted) did the appropriate
makedev and newfs, and voila:

p.s.	Yup, formatting, spare tracks, and inodes brought it down from
"86Megabytes" (no doubt decimal 1,000,000 Megabytes) to 
 63MegaBytes  (hex/binary Meg=1024*1024)
