YP and resolver on a 386i

The fixes on uunet for getting YP to work correctly with a name server may
work great for Sun-3's, but does anyone have copies of the new version of
ypserv for the 386i? With 4.0.1, if the name server goes down, YP seems
to generate an infinite number of requests to the server, and won't stop
until you kill ypserv!

Thanks.

[[ It's not clear that the patches on uunet fix that problem with a Sun 3,
either. We just got burned by that earlier today: inverted requests
(i.e.: number to name) to named were timing out and ypserv just would not
give up. We supposedly have a "fixed" version of ypserv installed, but I
don't know if it is the same as the one on uunet. --wnl ]]
