Help with Sun 3/60 + Maxtor XT-8760S

We don't sell Maxtor 8760S drives (the CDC's are cheaper and have worked
very well for us), but I have been told to use the following: 1626 data
cylinders, 2 spare cylinders, 1632 physical cylinders, 15 heads, 53
sectors per track.  There is a jumper on many disk drives that chooses
between 1 more or less sector per track, you might check the the Maxtor
has one, and set it to 53 sectors per track if so.  I seem to recall a bug
in earlier version of Sunos that wouldn't allow more than 1400 or so
cyulinders, but maybe it's fixed now.
