Alan .. we just got a run down of the new product line at our So.
California Sun User Group. I asked our Sun Presenter who was demo-ing the
SPARC Station One with what looked like a Sun 514A Shoebox if the old
peripherals were compatible, still.

The answer I got was YES .. I believe the presenter knew I was asking in
respect to BOTH 3/80 and SPARCStationI. I then asked if that went for my
existing compatible non-Sun SCSI devices. ANSWER: Sun sells a Small to
Big SCSI adapter for around twenty dollars (US). I think before you act
on my understanding of our presenter, you wait till someone has a chance
to say I misunderstood or the Sun person mis-spoke.

For both our benefits, I hope this is a non-problem .. I read a lot of
incompatible connector stories in this news group .. my neighbors tell
me .. not to worry .. they all play together .. SCSI disks, tapes and
Suns ... /Ev/
