Remote line printing

I recieved my sparcstation and am a little unfamiliar with the print
spooler. I do have it working with a local printer; I also have uucp up
and working. My problem is getting the spooler to send the file to a
remote printer via uucp. Every time I try to set up the printcap file to
what was in the manual but it always looks up the name in the hosts file
and does not find it. I tried to add the uucp system to the host file but
either I did it wrong or this is not the proper way to route it to the
uucp handler. Any suggestions would be appreciated..
