bug with SunView canvases

Is it a documented restriction that SunView canvases can't be more than
32767 in either dimension?  This seems to be caused by the use of shorts
in the Rect structure, and as you can guess, makes the use of large
canvases with scrollbars pretty useless.

This is under 4.0.3 on Sun-4 and SS-1.
