Sun's IPC vs Sparc speed (does it need memory?)

Definately memory.  OpenWindows munches that 8M immediately.  If you
expand the machine to 16M, it should do much better.  Our 8M SLC's don't
run OW nearly as well as our 16M SLC's.  Considering the price of memory
(non Sun of course) tthere's little reason to not expand the machine.

Plus, doesn't Sun only claim 12 Mips for the SLC? (12.8, or some such?)
