Does anyone have the rundown on netgroup syntax, its relationship to YP,
what you have to kill/restart to make a changed netgroup map "visible" to
other hosts attempting to mount filesystems, etc?  I'm sure it's all been
hashed out before while I've been far too busy to keep up with sunspots,
and rather than start a flamewar I am hoping someone saved summaries of
other peoples' discoveries to pass on to other folks who were in the
process of losing away with this stuff.

Will Sun *ever* fix this rot?  The manpages are so amazingly sparse, and
there's so much stupid subtlety behind the scenes...
