Various new rs/6000 owner questions

Hello,

Well, I'm the reasonably proud owner of a model 320. Since our
funding status ($$$) required us to make tradeoffs in the hardware
configuration, I got 16 meg memory, hi-perf 3d graphics, but
only 2 internal 120m drives...

So the thing got delivered with a bunch of stuff still packed
up in /usr/sys/preload (I don't know whether this is normal or not),
and after sifting through most of it, I think I've unpacked most
of what I want/need.

1)
Can somebody either tell me or point to a place in info that
will reveal whether or not the info databases can be put
on a remote (non-AIX, non-NFS, but Unix and on the local net)
machine? If I could get back that 60-70 megs, I'd be happy for
a while...

2)
As far as the graphics goes, are the gl libraries already someplace
on the disk, or are they mushed up with the X stuff? And are there
some groovy demo-type things that show what gl can do? Is gl
totally bound up with X, or is it separately programmable, and
where is the documentation for it?

3)
The machine came with a floppy that had some optional software
on it that turned out to be microcode for the hi-perf 3d boards.
I installed it. What is it? Should I have installed it? What's it
do?

4)
The machine also came with another unmarked floppy that I haven't
yet found anything on. Any guesses?

Thanks, more later, I'm sure.
