how brain-dead is AIX ?

1.	With AIX you get JFS - Journaled File System  ( JFS )

	JFS protects against accidental loss of files by maintaining a logger.

3.	Job-control is available



4.	POSIX  term drivers are available (they resemble BSD alot).
