How UNIXlike is A/UX and other boring questions

I have a few questions about A/UX that have probably been
asked millions of times before in this 'group. Persons with a low
tolerance for such questions should hit 'n' now!

(1) Which Mac's does A/UX run on? Just the IIs or is there some hope
for an SE/30? How much disk space does one need?

(2) How much like "ordinary" UNIX (eg, BSD or SysV) is AU/X? In other
words, how likely is it that a random UNIX application will compile
and run under A/UX? If reworking is required, how much?

(3) Any general comments (eg, "It's great", "It sucks", "It's great
but costs too much") would also be appreciated.

REPLY by email, I will summarize to the net if there is any interest.
