Yea, I have a whole term of experience.  You don't want it.  It bites.
Crashes when you move the mouse too much (its VBL unrolls the stack frame
to kick processes out when they exceed their quota and the mouse VBL
interferes with it).  Anyway, its skanky, and you don't want it.

See if you can get your hands on a copy of MacMach.  Its free (sort of).
It doesn't have the bells and whistles A/UX does, but it runs faster and is
pretty nifty overall.
