What I'm interested in finding out is if anyone has done a port of McClelland and Rumelhart's "bp" program to the Cray. The program implements backpropagation neural nets. They have versions of the program that run on pc's, pc unix systems, and the Macintosh. This program is distributed as part three of their "Explorations in Parallel Distributed Processing" series. I've a user who's been using the Macintosh version, but it's rather slow for some of his applications.

If you know of a Cray version of "bp", or if you have any other helpful advice, please reply via e-mail to "ggarb at apple.com".

Thanks.
