RFS protocol

Does anybody know the Remote File Sharing (AT&T's RFS) protocol?
I mean, what services are implemented by the system?
Mainly, what is the communication protocol it uses?

I am wishing to connect my proprietary Unix-like equipment with
an AT&T Unix-based machine. So, any information you can have,
please let me know. I can FTP.
