Thanks to those of you who replied to my query about running mport utlities
under other UNIX's.

Ross Biro has run mport documentors workbench and ksh under ESIX.

Clay Haapala has run mport documentors workbench under XENIX and has
managed to install the Green Hills C compiler (from mport?) succesfully. He
has also managed to get mport's ksh to run under Interactive 2.0.2

Eric Schnoebele has run mport executables under Interactive and has managed to
run executables from Interactive under mport.

Dion_L_Johnson suggested trading in mport towards SCO's unix. He says that this
has worked in the past.

Mike Grenier has taken files from mport and run them under interactive's UNIX.

A couple of others also replies saying that there should not be too much
trouble running mport executables under any other system
(but had not actually tried running mport stuff under any other system).

Some of the respondents gave warnings along the lines of:
1 - mport stuff might not work very well with Xenix,
2 - mport is release 3.0 whereas the latest Interactive is 3.2 which
might result in library conflicts (the libraries change between these
two releases).
3 - Floating point emulation will fail when running, for example, mport's
grap or pic under Xenix (but will work under ISC, Intel and Enix (- Esix?)).

I hope this is interest, encouragement, enlightenment to some body.
Thanks for the information,
Peter
