dos to unix zmodem (sz -e) fails

When sending a file containing the single character dec:152 (hex:98, oct:230),
(ie file size = 1 byte), it works fine from dos to unix with (sz -y file),
but sending the same 1 byte file with (sz -e -y file) fails.  I have
repeated this test several times with the same result.  I'm running dos
yam 17.71 ods1.0.1d (1/15/91) and unix rz 3.02 (6/4/89) and unix rz 3.04
(1/14/91) with the same results (sun 4.0 and sun 4.1).  The author,
Chuck, has not heard of anyone else having this problem.  Can someone
else repeat this test and see if you do/don't have the same problem?
